Body Image research

Final Design methods for media submission - Body Image
Body image is research turned into a documentary video conducted in a video diary interview. It integrates how body image perceives and shapes our society nowadays, its impact on society, and how our perception has changed over the years. In this context, body image is perceived differently by different parts of society and given different standards through social platforms. Responses have shown that body image impacts emotional health, mental health, and overall health. Negative thoughts and feelings about their bodies are more likely to develop certain mental health conditions, such as eating disorders. The influence that we have on body image is different, and the differences are seen massively on everyone. However, the documentary got more than the answers. It had a feeling—a conversation with yourself at your own pace. Reflecting on your own ideas and your ways of living so the people watching can relate or see the difference lets them open up to different ways of thinking and not just the square you have created, which leads to more opportunities and more ideas.
